Chris's Journey on The Voice Australia 2025
Chris Cobb made history on The Voice Australia with a powerful Blind Audition performance of “When the War Is Over” by Cold Chisel, earning a four-chair turn and making him the first Papua New Guinean to do so. Choosing Team Ronan, Chris impressed audiences with his warmth, authenticity, and unmistakable voice.
His Battle Round duet of “Bed of Roses” by Bon Jovi was called “perfect” by Ronan and led to an emotional twist when three coaches hit their save buttons, giving Chris a lifeline and the chance to switch to Team Richard Marx.
In the Knockouts, Chris delivered a moving version of “In the Stars” by Benson Boone, before closing his Voice journey with “The Flame” by Cheap Trick — a performance that proved his heart, power, and artistry.
“Every stage was a blessing, I am grateful to have been able to stand on this stage - something I've always dreamt of doing.” — Chris Cobb
